Scooter was educated at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Hospitality Management. While living in Las Vegas, he frequented the San Diego beer scene and that is where he fell in love with craft beer in 2005. As Former Tasting Room & Marketing Manager at Shmaltz Brewing Company he made countless connections in the beer industry and local community. Scooter has also worked as the Social Media Manager for the VT Hop Jam Festival, and has judged the National IPA Championship for Brewing News.

Scooter knocks out all the web design, graphic art, brewery correspondence, vendor registration, marketing/PR, social media, and acts as our beer curator for every event we produce. Somebody get this man a beer! 

 

When not planning our next event, Scooter works full-time as a stay-at-home father. When he can, he visits as many breweries as financially possible with his wife, Jen, and daughter, Kaya (3).
